TWEERIVER MELKERY
Storytelling
Context
Twee Rivier Boerdery, a long-established dairy farm in the Southern Cape, faced severe operational
challenges due to recurring power failures and load shedding. The farm, owned by the Robertson family,
was at risk of significant financial loss as their ability to irrigate pastures, milk cows, and maintain a
cold chain for dairy products was threatened. Together with the SB relationship Manager they initiated
a series of solar energy projects, that enabled the farm to grow and become more sustainable.
