Research revealed a clear problem: young changemakers in the Eastern Cape are doing powerful work in their communities, but they remain largely unseen, unsupported, and under-celebrated. There was no platform amplifying their stories or recognising the real impact they create.

Goal
Create a culturally aligned, youth-focused competition campaign that inspires participation, spotlights emerging changemakers, and demonstrates Standard Bank’s commitment to empowering the next generation.

The Goal
An insight-led vibrant campaign was created. Built around the dual rallying cry: What’s Your Mark? What’s Your Vibe? Using real youth culture, authentic visual cues, and a conversational tone, we crafted content that felt relevant, local, and energising. The campaign rolled out across social platforms and regional media, inviting young leaders to share their stories, enter the competition, and proudly represent the communities they uplift.
